Want to join the bareWell team?
At bareWell, we are proud to serve a diverse range of clients, with a focus on supporting the specialized and historically underrepresented communities across San Diego. We offer individual, couples, and family therapy services tailored to meet the accompanying wide range of needs. Our centrally located downtown office provides accessible care to those we’re most passionate about serving—just across the Coronado Bridge, south of Hillcrest, and half an hour from the border—making us easily reachable for military service members and their families, those identifying within queer & BIPOC communities, immigrants, and other communities throughout the area that may be seeking services in a comfortable, inclusive space (with large windows that boast views from the harbor to Cowles Mountain). Additionally, bareWell is honored to be San Diego’s exclusive provider of mental health services for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Behavioral Health. This initiative is dedicated to delivering comprehensive mental health, behavioral, and substance use care to athletes, their families, and individuals across the nation navigating mental health challenges.
Our ideal candidate is inclusive, driven, collaborative, and gets excited about learning, growing, and progressing. We always are looking for those with fresh perspectives & engaging energies to enhance our already visionary, supportive, (fun!), team-oriented group. If you are finding yourself torn between working in a group setting (but burnt out of agency work) yet also wanting more of a private-practice feel (but fearing going out on your own & all of the daunting administrative + marketing work) - this could be a great opportunity for you! We work hard to maintain a healthy, proactive work environment that strikes the balance of flexibility, freedom, & independence with a supportive, collegial and collaborative setting.
bareWell is multiculturally affirming and an equal opportunity employer. We are pleased to offer our employees W2 status. Women, clinicians of color, parents, differently abled clinicians, LGBTQ clinicians, and minority clinicians are welcome and affirmed! bareWell values and respects all types of diversity (for clients, clinicians, and community) including, but not limited to: ancestry; citizenship; color; creed; cultural background; disability status; domestic partnership; economic status; education; ethnicity; gender expression; gender identity; gender presentation; genetic information; health status; household composition; housing status; immigrant status; intellectual ability; marital status; medical condition; mental ability; national origin; neurodiversity; non-qualifying disability; parental status; physical ability; pregnancy; race; relationship status; religion; sex; sexual orientation; socioeconomic status; and veteran status.
